Hi, I’m Holly Hadfield!

I’m a 2025 graduate of The Northern School of Art, Durham, where I earned a First-Class degree in Film, TV, and Theatre Production. Throughout my studies I produced multiple films and stage-managed University productions, including Julius Caesar, The Crucible and There is a War, alongside personal stage projects.

I also led a personal study of sustainability in film and theatre which has shaped my industry knowledge further.

I have gained a plethora of industry skills through work experience and placements. Working on Elysium Theatre Company’s tour of Othello and with the senior technician at Stockton ARC, has meant I have worked in a variety of intimate and historic venues. Topics that are of particular interest to me are cue calling and stage combat; I am always excited to work with crew members on technical ideas and seek new learning opportunities that will help me create a safer space.

I have 10 years+ of experience in the industry. Being a part of multiple performance-based groups growing up, I have worked in venues such as the O2 and Sadler's Wells Theatre. This has provided me with an extensive understanding of how a team works together and the joy that is to put on a show for audiences!

When I’m not working on a show, you can often find me in a library or out on walks. My love of reading has developed into my love of stage and has been a hobby of mine ever since I could spell out the alphabet.
